Ubiquitin & Friends Symposium 2026

  Wed, 29 Apr - Thu, 30 Apr 2026
  Van Swieten-hall

The Ubiquitin & Friends Symposium is an annual international meeting in Vienna, aiming to bring together scholars from various fields studying ubiquitin/Ubl biology and protein degradation in a personal, family-like atmosphere, as suggested by the name.

The upcoming symposium will cover current research, challenges, and advances in Ub/Ubl biology. Topics include structural insights into molecular machines involved in proteostasis, chemical and proteomic approaches for studying the Ub system and Ub signaling, as well as various biological pathways such as autophagy, protein quality control, and proteostasis during stress, aging, and diseases.

Abstract submission and registartion deadline: March 16, 2026
