Out of 35 carefully selected participants, the MFPL sent in an all-female team with five scientists. Jillian Augustine, Karin Olek, Katrin Platanitis, Amelie Schoenenwald, and Iris Steinparzer will take part in different modules aimed at both personal and career development. For the first time since the founding of the program in 2015, the NaturTalente program is focusing on Life Sciences, and is carried out in cooperation with the Medical University of Vienna.
The five industry partners offering the different trainings are Boehringer Ingelheim, Sanofi-Aventis, Shire, Thermo Fisher Scientific and Valneva Austria for this year. Each company will give exclusive insights into their areas of activity during half-day modules. This will allow the NaturTalente a more in-depth look into the partner companies, as well developing their soft and communication skills.
For up-to-date information visit the official NaturTalente homepage (German only), or contact Gabriele Schuster-Klackl. If you would be interested in joining next year, keep an eye out for information emails to be sent out approximately in Fall 2018!
